In this week’s episode, we’re going to see Taylor Swift’s Workout Routine & Diet Plan
Taylor Swift, the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and country-pop artist, needs no introduction, but we'd like to remind you that she is living every woman's dream. After growing up in a small town, she influenced the young generation's perception of country music. Swift's debut album was released when she was sixteen, and she was compared to Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson, two legendary country singers. She's not only a great artist, but she even knows how to play the guitar, piano, and ukulele. She holds the distinction of being the first female artist to win two Grammy Awards for "Album of the Year." Her international success was aided by her chart-topping singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me." She sets a new record for herself for each album she releases. Many aspiring musicians look up to her as a role model. She is not only the artist with the most platinum-selling albums of all time, but she is also a model of compassion, having actively helped a number of charitable organizations. She aspires to the stars and easily leaps to greater heights.
Watch this on YouTube:
After a computer mechanic showed her how to play three chords, she started playing the guitar. She was just twelve years old when she heard country music. Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks influenced her. Her talent was apparent, as was her parents' encouragement. Her mother approached Dan Dymtrow, and with his support, the twelve-year-old was cast in Abercrombie & Fitch's "Rising Stars" advertisement, and was subsequently approached by a number of major record labels for interviews.
Taylor's grandmother, Majorie Finlay, was an opera singer who rose to fame as one of the greatest of her generation. It was listening to her grandmother sing that instilled in her a love of music.
With seven Grammy awards and a host of other honors under her belt, this rising star is determined to keep enhancing her appearance as well. Her latest stage appearance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is proof of that; with her tall frame, slender legs, and beautiful body, she looked no less than one of those models. With her daily exercise routines, she has been able to preserve her flawless body.
Working Out Principals:
Taylor is in good shape and has a lean body thanks to good genes, but being born that way and then keeping it are two separate things. When it comes to working out, her main priority is always exercise; she makes it a point to do 60 minutes of cardio every day, no matter where she is, whether it's on the treadmill or on the elliptical. She doesn't mind getting sweaty after a workout because it removes unnecessary contaminants while also helping her lose weight.
Her main goal is to improve her stamina and strength for her stage performances so that she doesn't get tired or out of breath in between. She performs Yoga and Pilates in addition to cardio to help lengthen the muscles and gain strength and control over the body. She's even been going to the gym on a daily basis in recent months.
Taylor Swift’s Workout Routine
Dance based cardio
Well for dance cardio, Taylor Swift does lots of stretching first like all the Pilates, stretches, and lots of warm-up exercises like jumping jacks, squat jumps, calf raises, etc. After she is done with her warm-up, she likes to go for a run.
Taylor swift also claims that when she is running, her mind gets really calm and that is when she explores her music most of the time. So for her running is the best thing, she runs for 30 to 40 minutes, which is quite good.
Sometimes she adds a few HIIT workout exercises but mostly she only follows the dance-based routine.
Weight Training
When Taylor Swift is doing weight training she doesn’t really go all out with heavyweight, she stays on the range of lightweights only, so that will just make her muscles559 get in shape but doesn’t make them bigger in size. Now we couldn’t find out which part she trains on what day exactly.
Chest Workout
For Taylor Swift’s chest exercise, she usually does a routine that contains exercises like bench press, push-ups, dumbbell press, and dumbbell flys that’s it. She doesn’t like to go too much towards weight training but it’s certainly part of her routine. Around 2 to 3 sets of each exercise with 10 to 12 reps each set.
Arms Workout

Shoulder Workout
So her usually exercise for back and shoulder are dumbbell rows, lat pulldown, V-rows, dumbbell deadlift, dumbbell press, side raises, shrugs and front raise that’s it. Taylor Swift does about 3 sets on this routine as well and with the same reps.
Legs Workout
She focuses on legs more than most of her other body parts and does a good amount of exercise to give her long and toned legs. Basically her cardio and dance workout do this job for her but still, she does like to do some squats, lunges, leg press, glutes exercise like leg lifts, etc. She does 3 sets of 10 reps each set.
Core Workout
Core exercise is the reason for her thin waistline, Nah I’m kidding it’s her dance routine and diet plan but core routine is part of it too. Her core routine involves leg lifts, crunches, planks, V-holds, leg raises, plank leg lifts, side planks, etc. She does 3 sets of each exercise with at least 15 to 20 reps and on the plank, she holds the position for about 1 minute.
As you can see, Taylor Swift maintains a strict fitness regimen that includes cardio, weight training, and dance.
