In 2002, Evans publicly stated that everyone knew that he is gay and that he has never tried to hide this fact. In 2014, it was reported that the actor was dating model Jon Kortajarena. They separated in 2016. He then dated Victor Turpin in 2018 and Rafael Olarra from 2019 to 2020.
During a 2021 interview, he said he was interested in having children and becoming a father.
Luke Evans started his stage career in 2000. He is a well-known Welsh actor, famous for appearing in the movie ‘Clash of the Titans,’ a 2010 remake of the 1981 film of the same name. The movie is epic. He was happy about being part of this movie, especially as it was his first ever and he made his debut with it.
He is also popular for performing in several of London's West End productions like ‘Miss Saigon,’ ‘Rent,’ and ‘Piaf.’ Besides this, he has also done numerous films, such as ‘Fast & Furious 6,’ ‘The Hobbit,’ ‘Immortals,’ ‘The Raven,’ ‘The Three Musketeers,’ and ‘The Girl on the Train’ to name a few. Evans has also played the role of ‘Dracula’ in a dark fantasy action-horror film titled ‘Dracula Untold.’ He even appeared as ‘Gaston’ in the live action adaptation of Disney's ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for which he received a ‘Teen Choice Award’. To prepare for his role as Gaston he first watched the animated version. He admitted in one of his interviews that he was confident about taking the role of Gaston, because he was able to sing the soundtrack.
He also appeared in the horror flick ‘No One Lives’ as well as in the high fantasy adventure movie ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.’ Talking about television, the versatile actor has worked in the series ‘The Great Train Robbery.’ These and many other contributions of the actor helped him earn the respect and admiration of his audience. Luke Evans’ Workout Mindset
If you’re going to become a ripped Hollywood action hero, it’s clear by now that you have to do hard work when it comes to your workout routine and diet regimen. It’s not going to be easy, but achieving your goal is worth it.
Evans’ own Instagram account is a great place to see some of his workouts. He doesn’t specify any exact formatting with his routine, but it’s definitely motivational if you’re a fan. I’ll put the Instagram link to his profile in the description below.
Luke Evans remembers the exact point in time when he knew he had to make it big. He’d just been offered his first major role as the Greek god Zeus in ‘Immortals’, he was quoted saying: “There was this epiphany when I realised that if I was going to do this job I would have to train a lot.” For the movie ‘Immortals’ he had to train hard to remove all the extra fat from his body.
The star of ‘Dracula Untold’ isn’t your common-variety Hollywood action man. And his workout for this movie was pretty insane too.
Unlike many of the more puritanical action men of Hollywood, strict adherence of nutritional macros is not a practice Evans preaches all year round. Once his job with a movie is done, he happily lets loose and believes that a bit of zig-zagging in your eating and exercise makes it easier to stay the course. As you can see, staying lean and having a great shape is not always about staying strict with your diet and exercise. Sometimes you need to let loose in order to get back on track. He believes that it’s good to give your body a break. “Even if you work out, there needs to be a cheat day”, according to his words in an interview with Men’s Health.
Usually, after spending 12 hours on the set, Evans would head on over to his very basic gym to work out. It only had a couple of cardio machines and some weights, but that’s all he needed. He improved his stamina and core strength by doing a variety of exercises: jumping, fighting, running and horseback riding were all part of his training. To make the action sequences and fight scenes look as realistic as possible, Evans really worked on his flexibility and kicks.
He works out even when he is not working on something and it’s because he enjoys it and it brings a lot of health benefits with it. His workout is different from the workout he does to get ripped for a movie character, though. When he works out for himself, his exercises are more relaxed, but still help him to stay in shape. He also enjoys getting circuits in to really beat up his muscles and always tries to change his routines.
If you want to get ripped like Luke Evans and at the same time be able to let loose sometimes, stay tuned, because we’re about to find out what he does in his weekly workout routine.

He manages to keep his great shape, even in his 40s and it’s not only because of his insane workout routine, but also because of his diet regimen. Now, it’s time to delve deep into his diet regimen.
Luke Evans’ Diet
Keeping with the Disney theme, I definitely recommend checking out Gaston’s Tavern in Disney World and trying the GIANT cinnamon roll and LeFou’s brew, a frozen apple juice drink with a hint of toasted marshmallow and topped with mango foam – I’m pretty sure Luke Evans isn’t utilizing those in his diet.
Evans is definitely very serious about his training and nutrition when it’s time to cut back for a role. He consumes loads of vegetable juices, vitamins, and water. Evans has a strict diet if he prepares for a role which means that he doesn’t consume sauce, bread, cream, or pasta. He also takes supplements.
Without further ado - here is what Evans eats in a day:
Breakfast
3 eggs
Green salad
Fresh juice
Lunch
Beef with lentils/quinoa
Vegetables
Dinner
Chicken breast
Sweet potato
Fresh juice
After doing this research, it’s clear why he has such a great physique. Whether you’ll try his workout and diet or not, remember that you need to find what works best for you and let your body rest.
